Bomgar end-user experience - Windows
Note
To receive remote help from DIIT via ITS Bomgar, try these steps:
- Open a web browser
- Go to https://remote.help.ucla.edu
- Enter the session key that DIIT provides and press the button Submit
- The web browser will begin to download an executable
- Wait for the download to finish
- After download is finished, install the executable
- Click the radial button "I have read and agree to the terms above" and click button OK
- Wait at this screen for the DIIT member to make a screen sharing request
- Click the button Allow to accept the DIIT member sharing your screen
- You may see a logo in the top right corner of your screen indicating that a Bomgar connection has been made
- To end the remote sharing connection, click the top right X button in the window "remote Support Customer Client - remote.help.ucla.edu," and click button Yes
- Click the button OK
- If wished, either:
- Close the browser
- View Session Recording
- Download Session Recording
- View Chat Transcript
- Download Chat Transcript
