CCLE (Common Collaboration and Learning Environment)

Description

CCLE is the Common Collaboration and Learning Environment. Its purpose is "to create a consistent campus-wide environment that supports both instruction and research collaboration".

Based upon the open source course management system Moodle, the CCLE is the product of a collaborative group of schools, divisions, campus departments and central units.

UCLA Library Digital Initiatives and Information Technology (DIIT) supports various Moodle widgets (aka blocks) connecting UCLA Library services to the course management system. One of the key tasks done is the load of LibGuides into CCLE.
