MARCIVE GovDocs load

Description

UCLA Library subscribes to the MARCIVE GPO service, which provides monthly files of MARC records for US Government Printing Office (GPO) materials. A custom loader program updates Voyager bibliographic and holdings records.

There are 5 files monthly:

1. New monographs
2. Changed monographs
3. New online-only serials
4. New mixed-format serials
5. Changed serials

UCLA Library DIIT (Digital Initiatives & Information Technology) supports the service.
