  1. Identify and define services
    1. As part of this we need an 'as-is' view of library data services - who does what where, for instance a search for "research data" against the library website returns: https://goo.gl/DHNHyo
    2. We can use Lisa Snyder's gap analysis or UCB's RDM service def. + expertise
  2. Identify peers - we've talked about this at the last meeting
    1. We can pair up and determine who calls who

  3. Come up with criteria, ranking and strategies for improvement
  4. Apply to ourselves - in order to do this we need a better understanding of our services and their offerings (above)
