Opus for Ad Hoc Committee

While its software is developed by UCLA, Opus is also integrated with a third-party system, Interfolio. In general, Ad Hoc members will interact exclusively with Interfolio to review cases for peer review.

Step-by-Step Guide: Peer Review for Ad Hoc Members

The following guide outlines the Opus peer review steps from Ad Hoc's perspective for performance cases.

Case Ready Email

Once a case is ready for Ad Hoc Review, each Ad Hoc member will receive an email notification prompting them to view the case.

 

 

The CAPA Chair or Chair-Elect who selected your committee will create a secure Box folder and grant access to the Ad Hoc members.





How to Log In to Interfolio

(warning)(warning) Interfolio has compatibility issues with Internet Explorer. Please use the most updated versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. If you are experiencing blank pages, forms, or buttons that do not work you may need to update your browser or delete old files out of your cookies and/or cache.

(warning) (warning) Disregard the default log in screen. Because we're UCLA, we must log in as a Partner Institution.

title5. Log in with your UCLA Logon ID and password

How to View Candidate's Packet

title1. On the left-hand side navigation menu, click "Cases" to see your Case List

title2. Click on the candidate's name to open the case

title3. Click "Read" to view entire packet

(warning) (warning) This will take you to the document viewer that will allow you review each uploaded document.

title4. Once review is done, click "Return to Case" and log out

 

(warning)(warning) You're only using Interfolio to review the case. You'll submit your Form #10 in paper to the CAPA Chair or Chair-Elect.

 

 

 






How to Submit Form #10

 


(green star)(green star) DO NOT UPLOAD FORM #10 TO OPUS. Due to the confidential nature of Ad Hoc Committees, please do the following after completing the Form #10:

  • Print one copy Create one pdf copy WITH confidential separate committee list and deliver in a sealed envelope to the CAPA submit it by uploading it to a secure Box folder created by the CAPA Chair or Chair-Elect who selected your committee.Print
  • Create a second pdf copy WITHOUT confidential separate committee list and deliver to upload it to the same secure Box folder as above.
  • Email the CAPA Chair or Chair-Elect who selected your committee .

 

 
  • to confirm receipt. Do not include any confidential information in the email. 
  • CAPA will communicate with LHR, and LHR will upload the Ad Hoc committee report and send the case back to CAPA.
