Librarian Peer Review
Academic Status
UC Librarians are non-senate academic appointees. Academic status is the sum of privileges, rights, and responsibilities accorded to librarians which includes keeping records of all professional accomplishments and activities for review by one's peers. Below are peer review resources for our UCLA Librarians.

Represented vs. Non-Represented
Librarians are either represented or non-represented at UCLA and it's important to know what that entails. Academic Librarian Series salary scales for both can be found on UCOP.
Represented Librarians
Represented librarians are in the collective bargaining unit and are covered by the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the University of California and the University Council - American Federation of Teachers (UC-AFT).
Non-Represented Librarians
Non-Represented librarians are not in the collective bargaining unit and are covered by the Academic Personnel Manual.
