In order to restore your computer we first need to make sure that it is completely turned off. Press and hold the power button until it is completely off.
1 | Press the power button once, then press and hold the option (alt) + Command (⌘) + R keys. | |
| 2 | A new window will open up asking you for your WiFi. Please connect to your local WiFi network | |
| 3 | You will then be on a window called macOS Utilities. Please click on Disk Utility |

| 4 | Under Internal, select the Macintosh HD drive, and click the minus sign to delete it. In the following window, click Delete. |

| 5 | Select the drive called APPLE SSD... under the internal drive options, and click Erase. |

| Rename to Macintosh HD, format to APFS, and scheme to GUID Partition Map. Click on Erase when done. |

| 6 | Quit Disk Utility (Command (⌘) + Q) | |
| 7 | Select Reinstall macOS.. option. |

In the following window(s), select Continue → Agree → Agree → click on the hard drive called Macintosh→ Continue. Approximate install time is ~45 minutes. |
