The UCLA Open Source Program Office (OSPO) is dedicated to fostering a culture of open source software development and collaboration within the UCLA community. The OSPO supports faculty, researchers, students, and staff by providing resources, guidance, and infrastructure to facilitate open source projects. Our mission is to advance the adoption and sustainability of open source practices across the campus, enhancing innovation and collaboration.

Services Offered

  • Open Source Project Support: Assistance with starting, managing, and contributing to open source projects.

  • Training and Workshops: Educational programs to develop skills in open source software development and community engagement.

  • Community Building: Initiatives to foster a vibrant open source community at UCLA through events, meetups, and collaborative projects.
