Opus for CAPA Members

While its software is developed by UCLA, Opus is also integrated with a third-party system, Interfolio. In general, CAPA members will interact exclusively with Interfolio to review cases for peer review.

How to Move Case Forward

(green star) CAPA CHAIR OR CHAIR-ELECT ONLY. If a CAPA member moves this case forward, this case is removed from the case list for every CAPA member and will move forward for UL Review. It's important that the CAPA Chair or Chair-Elect be the only ones moving cases forward to ensure that the case is truly ready for UL review with a Form 11-A or 11-B.

 1. Click "Send Case" and then "Forward to"

(warning) If there are issues with the uploaded documents and you need further clarification, DO NOT send this case forward. Please work with LHR to get the clarification you need.

 2. Check the "Send a message..." box

(warning) Interfolio should default to checking this box automatically.

 3. Click "Continue" to move case forward to LHR

(warning) After this step, simply log out and you're done. (remember, "send a message" box SHOULD be checked)
