CLICC Virtual Desktop

Overview

Everything that you need to know about CLICC Virtual Desktop.

Prerequisite: please join eduroam on UCLA campus or enable the UCLA VPN off campus to use CLICC Virtual Desktop.

Reminder: do NOT save your work on CLICC laptops. Please use USB drives or a cloud service.





How to launch CLICC Virtual Desktop on Windows

In the taskbar search box, please type Citrix and this should show up:

  • Click on Citrix Workspace and it will launch the app. You should then see this screen:

  • Type clicc.library.ucla.edu in the text field:

  • Click on Continue and you should arrive to this screen:

  • Enter your UCLA Single Sign-on credentials and click Log On.


How to launch CLICC Virtual Desktop on macOS

When you create your account on your lended Mac, an app called Citrix Workspace will be installed automatically, allowing you to use CLICC Virtual Desktop.

  • Launch Spotlight Search by either clicking on the magnifying glass at the top right, or by pressing Command key+Spacebar, and type citrix:

  • Citrix Workspace should show up as the first result. Press enter to launch it, and you should arrive to this screen:

  • Type clicc.library.ucla.edu in the text field:

  • Click on Continue and you should arrive to this screen:

  • Enter your UCLA Single Sign-on credentials, and click Log On.

How to launch CLICC Virtual Desktop on Chrome OS

  • Launch the Citrix Workspace app.


  • In the account URL field, type https://clicc.library.ucla.edu and click connect. You should arrive to this page:

  • Enter your UCLA Single Sign-on credentials, and click Log On.
