CLICC Self-Service Charging Stations

As of Winter 2024, CLICC is officially providing Self-Service Charging Stations for patrons to charge their phones. These are lockers which patrons will have to input a password to charge and retrieve their phones.

Location in Lab and RC

CLICC Lab (Powell 145)

Located upon entry next to digital signage display.

CLICC YRL Equipment Lending Station (YRL 11360E)

Located at the lending station desk.

How To Use Charging Stations

There is a sticker with step-by-step instructions below the digital panel.

Click “Charge” - button in Blue as indicated in the illustration

Select a locker that is available.

Note: Lockers that have phones will automatically be marked as ‘Occupied’

Input a passcode of patron’s choice.

 

Note: Patron will need this passcode to retrieve their phone

Press [OK] button.

Re-input the same password to confirm the password and press [OK] again.

The selected locker door will open for patron to plug in their phone and leave their phone in the locker.

Note: Light will turn from blue to white at this stage.

Close the locker door and patron is good to go.

Click “Retrieve” - button in Yellow as indicated in the illustration

Select locker with patron’s device.

Input passcode.

Click [OK].

Locker door will open and Patron can retrieve device.
Close door after.
